Facts and Questions

How do I make an Appointment?

There are several ways you can make an appointment. You can call our office directly at (856) 983-5551 to speak with our office staff or leave a message with your information. You can also make an appointment through our online system found on the home page.

What happens at the first appointment?

During our first appointment we will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation or psychiatric screening. This assessment includes gathering medical, biographical, social, and psychological information from questions, observations, and data from screening tools. The goal of this evaluation is to diagnose and discuss possible treatment options including medication initiation. Initial evaluations average 45-60 minutes long.

What happens at subsequent appointments?

Follow-up appointments will differ depending on what has been discussed in your initial evaluation. If you and your provider have discussed initiating medication management only, your pharmacologic treatment plan will be discussed thoroughly and appropriate changes to your medication regimen will be made. If you and your provider have discussed initiating medication management with supportive psychotherapy, your medication regimen will be altered and adjusted with the addition of engagement in a specific therapeutic modality tailored to your needs. Psychotherapy appointment follow-up appointments will typically average 30 minutes long. If you are already under the care of a therapist, our providers are happy to work collaboratively with her/him throughout the course of your treatment in order to ensure optimal care for each individual.

Can I use my insurance?

We are out of network providers and do not accept any insurance. We will provide you with a detailed receipt so that you may present it to your insurance carrier. Depending on your plan, your insurance may reimburse you for a portion or all of your appointment costs. All services are paid in full at the beginning of each session via cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.

Our rates are as follows:

Medication management: $100

Medication management with psychotherapy (30 min): $200
